Job Description: We are seeking a full-time Accounting and Administrative Assistant who will be a vital part of our office environment. This person will play a key role in Arden Homes' day-to-day accounting and office management activity. At Arden, we place a high value on several intangibles that will make for a successful team member, including self-motivation, attention to detail, and a passion for delivering the highest quality and timely work in every aspect of our company.
Key Roles and Responsibilities
Perform essential accounting functions, including data entry for accounts payable, acting first and foremost in a support role for the controller.
Perform basic administrative and office support activities, including word processing, maintaining and creating spreadsheets, filing and scanning, supply coordination, managing office vendor relationships, etc.
Coordinate closing documentation with attorneys and realtors.
Maintaining the accounting software to process reports used by the management team.

A minimum of an Associate’s Degree.
Accounting data entry experience of 5+ years in the construction industry preferred.

Personable, independent worker comfortable making decisions
Proficient knowledge of all Microsoft Office applications, with a preference for someone who has experience with Sage 300 accounting software and/or Builder MT Construction software.
